Buying or selling a home can be stressful and confusing – but it doesn’t have to be! For most people, it’s the biggest and most expensive decision they will ever make. My goal is to make the process simple and straightforward, so you can focus on what matters most to you.
As a Residential Sales Associate, I work with both buyers and sellers throughout southwestern Vermont. What I love most about selling real estate is connecting with people and helping them move forward with their goals in life.
For buyers, my mission is to find the perfect home for you! By getting to know my clients and their families on a personal level, carefully understanding their wants and needs, we find the best house to fit their lifestyle. I especially like working with First-Time Home Buyers, answering a zillion questions and becoming their trusted adviser. I will be with you every step of the way, from the start of your search to handing over the keys at closing.
For sellers, my first priority is to assess the current market value of your property because finding the right price is crucial. I will point out anything that could hinder a sale so it can be addressed ahead of time, and recommend next steps to set the home apart from the competition. When you’re ready to sell, I’ll take beautiful photographs that show your property at its best, and create an internet marketing campaign to attract buyers near and far. My superior organization, negotiation skills and responsiveness will prove crucial when managing the transaction to ensure you are represented well and that the deal closes.
Real estate has fascinated me since I was 6 years old watching my parents build their forever house from the ground up. This experience taught me all about the pride of home ownership, and I still believe it's the core of "The American Dream.” As a teenager I started helping my dad with home improvement projects, and by my early 20s I was attending open houses with my mom. It was a natural progression to get my real estate license and turn this passion into a career. I love my job and could not imagine doing anything else!
I am a native Vermonter, born and raised in Bennington. In 2012, I moved to rural Sunderland with my boyfriend (Jon) and our Australian Cattle dog (Milo). My interests include cooking, dining at restaurants (local favorites are Ye Olde Tavern, Thai Basil, and Mulligans for “the best thing I ever ate” white chocolate bread pudding), digital photography, interior design, recycling, music, movies and reading. During summer I love being outdoors and going for long walks, swimming and kayaking. Winter sports are not my thing, but I appreciate the beauty of fresh white snow, and Christmas is my favorite holiday. I’m a big fan of Food Network and HGTV, although I can tell you it’s not nearly as simple as they make it look in 30 minutes! My best moments involve quality time with family and friends, and being of service to others.
